Description of Event
The San Diego County Probation Department invites public participation in a discussion and information-gathering session regarding mentoring services to help address the needs of youth on probation, foster positive change, and reduce recidivism. Feedback on the following topics will be explored: pairing youth with an adult mentor with similar life experience; elements, resources or tools needed for a successful mentoring program within the Central Region of the county; challenges or barriers to implementing a successful mentoring program within the Central Region of the county.
