Description of Event
The San Diego Refugee Forum Domestic Violence Task Force and Employment Task Force will for an event focused on educating the community about financial abuse and providing employment/financial resources. The first half of the program will be general information on domestic violence, financial abuse and mental health. The second half will be comprehensive providing workforce development resources such as resume building support, job search support, and budgeting 101. We hope to empower the community, address financial insecurity and create a financial safety plan for potential victims of domestic violence and financial abuse.
