Description of Event
The San Diego Promise Zone (SDPZ) All Partner meeting will bring together 50+ nonprofit partners that participate in the work of the SDPZ. The SDPZ is a 6.4 geographic area that includes parts of Barrio Logan, Logan Heights, Southeastern and Encanto. The SDPZ is a ten-year Federal designation and focuses on six goal areas: Creating Jobs, Increasing Economic Activities, Creating a Priority of Safety, Improving Educational Opportunities, Increasing Access to Affordable Housing and Increasing Access to Healthcare and Healthy Foods.
