Event Details

In collaboration with Autism Society of San Diego, Mission Valley Library welcomes families with children who have special needs to a sensory-friendly show featuring a mini-horse! Recommended for children ages 3-10, this interactive program will feature a fun story, a horse show-and-tell, as well as a chance to meet, greet, and paint a horse with bright colors! After the show, families can explore the library, check out items, or enjoy the sunny patio. Regular Sunday hours for the general public start at 12:30. No registration is required. You can prepare your child for this program by using the Social Story, available as a PDF download on this page.
