Learn how the Bora-Huitoto People, one of the many tribes living in the Amazon forest use giant drums to communicate between villages. Pick up your free materials kit* at the library to create your own small drum replica. Then learn to make rhythms and music using your drum. Have fun communicating with your friends and family in a new way!

Set off on an adventure to explore new places, cultures, and modes of travel in this annual Spring into STEAM event.

This year’s STEAM Challenge includes 4 workshops.  Each workshop will reveal a secret code. Complete at least 2 different workshops and write the codes down on a piece of paper or on the bookmark provided on the program flyer. Return to a library branch offering services to claim a pair of binoculars!
