Program Description

Event Details

Suicide is not only a mental health problem, but also a public health crisis. Nearly 47,000 suicides occurred in the United States in 2017 – more than twice the number of homicides – making suicide the 10th leading cause of death. Workshop attendees will learn how to identify the warning signs of suicide, how to talk with an individual believed to be at risk, and how to seek help through appropriate resources.

To register, call 1-800-82-SHARP (1-800-827-4277) or visit sharp.com/citywellness.

Sharp HealthCare is proud to be the official Health and Wellness Partner of the City of San Diego.
