Description of Event
Members of the Theater World Group from UCSD’s Lifelong Learning Institute will present Neil Simon’s hilarious play, The Odd Couple, a play that was so loved that it became a movie and a TV series. Two mismatched roommates-the neat uptight Felix and the slovenly, easygoing Oscar-struggle to live together, and the weekly poker game feels the brunt of it. While all that Oscar can offer the guys is a warm coke and moldy sandwiches, when Felix takes over, changes occur that drive Oscar to the edge of madness. Laughter and fun prevail as Oscar and Felix butt heads in every way possible.
The show will be directed by Ilene Hubbs, who has been very active in directing the Theater World Group and works as an artistic director of Theater World’s annual winter musicals.
There is no charge for admission. There is some free parking at the library or look for unrestricted parking on Eads between Silver and Prospect, upper Draper away from village, Marine St, and upper Fay.
Come and enjoy!
