Event Details

The Tierrasanta Library Monthly Book Club is held every 2nd Thursday of the month from 10:00 am-11:15 pm. This month's selection is Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens.  Kya Clark is the "Marsh Girl" of Barkley Cove on the North Carolina Coast. Abandoned at age ten, she has survived on her own in the marsh that she calls home. A born naturalist, she took life lessons from the land, learning from the false signals of fireflies about the real way of the world. Drawn to two young men from town who were intrigued by her wild beauty, Kya opened herself to a new and startling world-until the unthinkable happens. When a man is found dead, the locals suspect Kya.
