Join City Ballet of San Diego for "A Book and a Ballerina!" Enjoy listening to a read-aloud, hearing from a professional ballerina, and learning some basic dance steps.

Join us for special Story Time as part of Filipino American History Month. We will feature a Filipino folktale and craft! It will be held in Kensington Park at 10:30am. There will be stories, songs, and bubbles! Join the fun!

Babies and toddlers ages 0-18 months and their caregivers will enjoy songs, lap-sits and rhymes that foster early literacy skills.

Join us for a lapsit storytime with board books, rhymes, songs, and fingerplays for pre-walkers. For ages 0 to pre-walkers.

Join us for "Sign-a-Story Circle Time" with Baby Sign Language Basics author, Monta Z. Briant. Parents learn how to use ASL signs for early communication with their babies through stories, songs, and other fun activities. 

Children learn simple signing in a fun, storytime format.

Join us as we read, sing, and dance this special Storytime, which encourages a love of reading and builds essential early literacy skills. A unique craft follows each Storytime.

Bring the kiddos to the library every Thursday morning for a variety of play!  Storytime, crafts, dancing, songs and most of all FUN!

Join Ms. Camille and Ms. Melissa every Thursday at the OB Rec Center for storytime and free play for children 0 to 5 years old. Each week children will have the opportunity to explore and socialize and so will their caregivers!

Preschool storytime for babies, toddlers, and all preschoolers!

Welcome families to Stay and Play. This program is focused towards children 0-5 years old and their caregivers. Every Thursday we will offer free play.

Join in as literature Comes to Life Halloween Program we read, sing, dance, and play in this special Storytime meant to encourage a love of reading and build essential early literacy skills.

Kensington-Normal Heights Librarians will share stories, songs, and bubbles with children ages 3-5. Older and younger siblings welcome! Bring a blanket to sit on the grass. 

Come play with us! Enjoy a variety of sensory play activities for little learners.

For ages 3 - 5. Limit 20 participants. First come, first served.

Stay and Play is a play group and storytime for kids age 0-5 and their adults. We especially invite nontraditional caregivers (friends, family members, and neighbors) who care for children in an informal way.

Join us for Mandarin Chinese stories and songs with Ms. Canndy at the Community Room in the Mira Mesa Library. All ages are welcome! Th storytime will be on the 3rd Saturday of the month (subject to change).

LEGO Free Play: Imagine and build with LEGO! Keep your engineering and problem-solving skills sharp using the library's LEGO bricks.
