Babies & Toddlers- Let's Play!  Engage curiosity, exploration, and build confidence all through play with sensory activities that promote cognitive, social, & motor skills. 

Sensory and early literacy play for little learners ages 1–5 and their caregivers.

Stay and Play is a play group and storytime for kids age 0-5 and their adults. We especially invite nontraditional caregivers (friends, family members, and neighbors) who care for children in an informal way.

Build, build BUILD!!!  Come join us for a fun filled activity on alternating Saturdays here at the Linda Vista Library.  Kids can create something unique or build skyscrapers, spaceships, and more!  Let your imagina

Explore the science behind natural dyes! In this hands-on program, participants will learn about the cochineal, a small-scale insect that has been used for centuries to produce vibrant red and pink dyes, and other natural dyes.

LEGO Free Play: Imagine and build with LEGO! Keep your engineering and problem-solving skills sharp using the library's LEGO bricks.

Join us at the Innovation Station where we'll learn about electricity by making LED light up cards. All supplies are provided and no reservations are needed. Open to all school age kids. 

Beginner friendly computer-aided design (CAD) projects such as keychains and simple geometric models. 3D printing available during class. Open to all school aged children. No previous experience necessary. No reservations needed.

Are you interested in learning Computer Aided Design (CAD)? Register to attend this introduction to CAD! Presented by your local FTC Team, RoboRavens, this program will cover the basics of CAD using Onshape. 

STEAM Explorers Club is for 3rd through 6th graders who are interested in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Mathematics). Each week kids engage in a new and fun hands-on/minds-on activity exploring a wide range of subjects.

Kids can enjoy being creative by building with LEGO blocks and DUPLO bricks. It's a great opportunity for exploring with new ideas, as well as sharing concepts and strategies with other attendees.

Looking for something fun to do on a Monday afternoon? Stop by the Legler Benbough Teen IDEA Lab for Maker Mondays, happening every week from 5 to 7 PM.

Come build your creations while making new friends!  All Legos will be supplied by the Library.  Your creation will be featured in our display cases!

Bring your ideas to life at our Mobile Maker Lab in the Mission Hills-Hillcrest Library. Learn to use various programs and equipment  such as our 3D printer and die cut machine powered by Silhouette Studio.
