Description of Event
Find out how you can use the act of creative writing to release stress, build up your confidence and reinvent yourself! Taught by Rae Rose, the author of Bipolar Disorder For Beginners and the editor of the Kids! San Diego Poetry Annual, has her MFA in poetry but uses a wide range of creative writing tools to get through life's struggles. She has used writing (along with modern medicine!) to deal with a stroke, a brain surgery, relearning how to walk again, a condition that causes chronic pain and a disability. It's as if she sees herself as her own protagonist. She writes her way out of trouble.
