You are invited to watch the 19th annual Women's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony where they will honor and induct 7 San Diego women into the Hall of Fame. Including: Congresswoman Susan Davis and these incredibly talented San Diego women: Historian: Iris Engstrand; Activist: Kathi Anderson; Empowerer: Nola Butler Byrd; Bridgebuilder: Dr. Lupe Buell; Historian: Dr. Sue Gonda; and Activist: Olivia Puentes Reynolds. The Women's Hall of Fame is an annual induction ceremony the recognizes five women from San Diego whose actions and accomplishments have visibly made a difference for women in the community. The annual induction ceremony is also a forum for coalition building between the four co-hosts and dozens of women's organizations representing San Diego's diverse population. This program is presented by the Women's Museum of California whose mission is to educate and inspire current and future generations about the experiences and contributions of women by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the evidence of that experience. The Museum engages its mission through an active calendar of originally curated and exhibits, educational programs, and community events. Visit them for a slate of exciting activities all year long celebrating the passage of the 19th Amendment.
