Event Details

Join us for a fascinating look from an avid bird, photographer and wildlife lover.  Jeanie Anderson will be the speaker. Birds of our local area have been her focus for over 14 years as she has lead 2 Christmas Bird Counts for the San Diego Audubon Society in Balboa Park and Lake Hodges and walks in Los Penasquitos.  Features include 4 large rain barrels, several compost systems, water sources for wildlife, brush piles, many natives, a hummingbird feeder, desert tortoise home, barn owl box and more. Her orchard of fruit trees is a revolving buffet for wildlife over the course of the year.
