Event Details

"All in the Family" with Seiran Sohn (pianist) with her sons, Matthew Griegel (violinist) & Michael Griegel (cellist).

Dr. Sohn, who has a Doctorate in Piano Performance from Jacob School of Music at Indiana University, will be performing solo works by Schumann, Liszt, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff. She will be joined by her sons, Matthew Griegel (violinist) and Michael Griegel (cellist) who are both freshman at Del Norte High School and have been playing since the age of five. They are also members of the San Diego Youth Symphony as well as playing trumpet and trombone in the Del Norte High School Band.

This concert series was created to expand the opportunity for talented area musicians to perform in public. Many of the performers are also music educators and will enhance the  programs by offering insights into the music, the composers and the performers.
