All the Way to the Top Author Event| a One Book, One San Diego Virtual Event

San Diego Public Library and KPBS are teaming up once more to present a virtual author event for the 2021 One Book, One San Diego selection for children, "All the Way to the Top." Featuring author Annette Bay Pimental and disability rights activist Jennifer Keelan-Chaffins, the subject of "All the Way to the Top," this event will give insight to the fight for the Americans with Disabilities Act. Learn how the push to make public spaces more accessible for everyone came about and how it keeps on going.

Participants may watch the event as it is livestreamed on the KPBS YouTube Channel, or watch it from the One Book, One San Diego Facebook page. We invite folks of all ages and educators to take part! "All the Way to the Top" is available to check out at the library, or you can purchase a copy to take home from The Library Shop.

One Book, One San Diego is an ongoing partnership with KPBS and others with a goal of bringing local communities closer together via the experience of reading the same books. Learn more about it on the One Book website.
