Event Details

In Week 4 of Coding Camp, students will be exploring the fundamentals of web programming with Javascript. They will combine library toolkits with their own creativity to make an interactive drawing app they can share with their friends! Students will also learn how to interact with a web page using Javascript and HTML, manipulating elements of the page to create web apps. They will take a more in depth look at the language itself and the theory behind web programming in general.

  • These programs are intended for incoming 6th graders or older. Younger students with previous coding experience may also attend.
  • Registration for each week of Coding Camp is required; space is limited.
  • To register for this week of Coding Camp, go to the Monday of this week to find the registration form.
  • Each student must bring their own laptop or Mac to Coding Camp every day. Free wifi is available in the library.
