Event Details

Quilting is not just a granny craft!  Neighbors of all ages are invited to join members of Seaside Quilters Guild of Pacific Beach to create a community quilt celebrating our great city. We need your creativity and energy to design the quilt blocks that will make up the quilt. No sewing is required and all tools and materials will be provided. Experienced quilters will be on hand to give you help all along the way. Block-making workshops will be held on three Sundays: January 21, February 18, and March 17 from 1-3pm. Afterwards, Guild members will sew the blocks together into the San Diego-themed quilt that will hang in the Pacific Beach Library's Taylor Gallery from mid-August 2024 to October 2024.

Help us tell the world what makes San Diego America’s Finest City, by sharing your vision on our community's quilt. What do you love about living in San Diego? Think neighborhoods, landmarks, history, food, past times.

Everyone is welcome to work on the quilt - kids, teens, adults, and yes, even grannies! Come and put your mark on this project!
