The one-of-a-kind Trolley Dances are back at the Central Library! Come and see these 8-minute dance performances in the Lobby between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Performances will be performed approximately every 45 minutes.
20 minute guided meditation followed by tea.
The topic for this month is Vegan Oktoberfest! Learn how to make vegan sausages from scratch and taste test a variety of ready-made commercial brands while surveying how they are used in vegan cooking.
Each class will utilize a different art technique to inspire the creation of unique pieces.
Classes will begin with quiet time for sketching; please bring a small sketch pad. All other supplies provided free of charge.
Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of flower arranging. A wide variety of arrangements will be on display and there will be demonstrations by master arrangers. There will also be Japanese cultural displays and sushi will be served.
