Event Details

We are excited to offer 3D Printing in person! Stop by the La Jolla/Riford Library's IDEA Lab during open lab hours with your .STL file and staff will be happy to assist you. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate 3D print by email request at this time.

OPEN LAB HOURS*

  • Mondays: 4:30-7:30pm**
  • Saturdays: 2:30-5:30pm

**Except the 3rd Monday of the month when we have a 3D Design Workshop

 

Please see below for more important details:

  • Maximum print time is two (2) hours. Be prepared to monitor your print in the lab for the entirety of the printing process.
  • 3D printing is free
  • Only prints in PLA
  • Staff cannot guarantee model quality or stability, color, nor confidentiality of designs
  • Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the library.
  • Library staff reserves the right to refuse any 3D print request
