Event Details

At 5 pm on Friday, August 20th we will go live on Zoom and William Mallory will demonstrate how to draw using conte crayons!

Join William Mallory, Librarian and occasional artist, for this presentation on Sketching Basics. This hour-long live demonstration will feature basics on sketching shapes, lighting, and shading techniques using conte pencils and paper. Take found objects in your own home and sketch your own still life artwork. A conte crayon will be provided to the first 50 registrants.

Register by August 13th to have your kit sent to any of the pick-up or in-person locations.  Staff will contact you when your craft kit is available for pickup.

Participants who register afterwards will need to pick up their kit at the Pacific Beach Branch Library (4275 Cass St  92109; 858-581-9934)
