The Local Author features interviews with San Diego writers, affording them the opportunity to share information about themselves, and their work, with the community.    John was selected by the Friends of the San Diego Central Library.  John Van Roekel is the author of 3 novels:  "Braver Deeds", "Prisoner Moon", and his latest, "Lorenzo's Assassin".  All 3 books are works of historical fiction. It is "Lorenzo's Assassin", published in 2016.
