Event Details

Author and teacher Kate Recore and physician and teacher Dr. Erin Castelloe will offer insight into the epidemic of misdiagnosis, and will lead a discussion about cultivating a culture of collaboration between patients and doctors.

Bios:

Kate Recore is an award-winning public speaker, a seasoned copywriter and editor, and author of the medical memoir, "Brain Storm: An Electrifying Journey." She finds her joy in being a mom, and in being in a classroom, teaching people of all ages to find their voices and share their journeys.

Erin Castelloe is a California-licensed and American Board of Family Medicine-certified family doctor. She is passionate about social justice and empowerment through education. She pursues her passions by providing and promoting comprehensive sexuality education for people of all ages and abilities in and around San Diego, CA.
