Event Details

Have you ever wondered what happens at the library when it's closed?   We will share our secret world with your bedtime buddy friends at our Bedtime Buddy Sleepover!  Put on your comfy PJ's and bring your favorite bedtime buddy for an evening of stories, and an art project with ArtSmarts.  Then leave your buddy in the capable hands of the library staff as your special buddy gets to sleep in the library overnight.    We'll take pictures of all the overnight fun to give to the kids when they come to pick up their animal on July 13.. 

Explore your world and beyond during the Summer Reading Program! San Diego residents of all ages are encouraged to sign up for this event and venture beyond the beaten path and read! Complete a combination of 10 books, hours of reading or activities to claim your prizes. Sign up begins June 1st and the program will last through August 31st.
