Description of Event
Join us for our Friends of Famosa Slough Annual Meeting on March 17, 2025, as we provide an overview highlighting the birds at Famosa Slough! We will discuss the numerous rare bird sightings in 2024, provide an overview of the seasonal common birds expected at Famosa Slough, when we expect to see them, the habitats that attract them. We will also provide updates on the SANDAG project and the project to redirect the runoff from the nearby alley into the top of the Treatment Ponds to improve water quality in the Slough. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the program will begin at 7 pm with light refreshments provided.
