Event Details

As a people we have always been a
part of the labor force, whether it
was when the stolen Africans were
enslaved or when we worked for
minimum wage.
We spend Labor Day shopping, eating
and sometimes just doing nothing. You
are invited to join Black Storytellers of
San Diego as we celebrate Labor Day with
stories about the History of Blacks and
Labor and tell our personal stories about
labor. You know that first job, if you are
retired, that last job. The time you couldn't
take it anymore and you walked off that job.
