Event Details

What is a Dreamcatcher, anyway? A dream catcher is a handmade object that is traditionally used as a form of protection by some Native American tribes. It is made of a willow hoop that is woven with a web or net, and it can include feathers and beads. Dream catchers are often hung above cradles or beds to catch bad dreams or other harm that might be present. They are widely viewed as a symbol of oneness among numerous indigenous cultures and tribes, and they’re also generally looked at as an indication of Native American identity.  Materials are provided.
