The Friends of the San Diego Public Library will be hosting its next book sale at the University Heights Branch Library at 4193 Park Blvd (at Howard Ave), San Diego 92103. Enter at the Sprouts parking lot entrance.

Beginning October 7th, all San Diego Library branches will participate in the annual In-N-Out Burger "Cover to Cover Club" Reading Program for children ages 4 to 12, from Oct 7 - Nov 18.

Participating Branches-- Clairemont, Balboa, North Clairemont, Serra Mesa

Earn a stamp at all four stops in any order and receive a special gift from your final stop! (While supplies last)

Stop in to learn Japanese or improve your Japanese language skills!

These Storytimes, good for kids ages 4 to 6, are fun, kinetic, and humorous experiences!  I make it a point not just to read books, but to perform them as well!

Join us every Saturday morning for some fun with legos and rokenbox! All materials will be provided. Children can save what they build at the library and continue to build on it every week all month long!

Please join us for a Hemming Workshop. Learn how to hem your garments using the blind stitch and hem techniques with a machine and by hand. ALL materials included.  For ages 12 and up. OPTIONAL - Bring a garment from home for hemming.

Learn the fundamentals of renewable energy sources by making your own wind turbine!

Calling all builders!  Put your creativity to the test and show us your Lego building skills.
