Interested in achieving better brain function while improving your memory, cognitive abilities, and strategic thinking? Then play chess!
Chess is played by over 600 million people and is the most popular game in the world. The Point Loma/Hervey Branch Library offers open chess play every Thursday from 2:00-5:00pm where players can drop-in, play, and indulge in this ancient game.
All players - from beginners to experts - are welcome to join in!
Geared towards players between the ages of 7-18+
