Program Description

Event Details

Cyclists of all ages & abilities are invited to bring their bikes to the PB Library for an interactive City Cycling workshop led by the San Diego County Bike Coalition

Participants will learn how to perform emergency maneuver skills, and legal rights & responsibilities.  Class content applies to both regular and e-bikes.  The 3-hour class is broken up into 3 parts:

  • Lecture
  • Skills Drills
  • Road Riding

Please note that this is not a "learn-to-ride" class.  Participants should bring their own bikes in good working order.  Helmets are required; the SD Bike Coalition can provide free helmets by advanced request.

In order to provide the best learning environment, class size is limited to only 20 cyclists.  Advance registration is required through the SD Bike Coalition's website.
