Event Details

Do you have a passion for comics and graphic novels?

Join the Comic-Con graphic novel book clubs!

The clubs meet in the evening once a month (some clubs skip July, when Comic-Con takes place in San Diego) where everyone reads the same book. Members must be 18 years of age or older, have a Comic-Con Member ID, and—obviously!—live in San Diego County to attend the meetings. Meetings last about 90 minutes; members are responsible for obtaining their own copies of the selected books, either via local comics shop, online, digitally, or from their local libraries.

To sign up, please contact Comic-Con International at bookclub@comic-con.org.

The San Diego Comic Convention (Comic-Con International) is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation organized for charitable purposes and dedicated to creating the general public’s awareness of and appreciation for comics and related popular art forms, including participation in and support of public presentations, conventions, exhibits, museums and other public outreach activities which celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.

Visiting the Central Library

Parking is underneath the Central Library, FREE with 2-hour validation. The library is one block from the Park & Market stop on the Trolley Blue and Orange lines.  Bus routes 12, 901, and 929 stop right in front of the library at the 11th Avenue and K Street stop.
