“Please join us for a re-creation of our first summit titled, Daily Gun Violence Summit. We were thrilled to be asked by the Malcolm X Library to present our important discussion on the daily gun violence that grips communities across the country every single day. Come hear our keynote speaker and gun violence expert Dr. Cid Martinez share important data regarding San Diego County, as well as our Brady Campaign policy expert Ron Marcus. We will also have 2 panels again- one of community members and one of students who have been affected by gun violence. This Summit will be moderated by Wendy Wheatcroft.  If you missed the first one, here’s your chance to see it again! We walked away from the original presentation forever changed and this Summit will be no exception.  *We will be raising funds for CAST, Community Assistance and Support Team, to help fund the important work they do in our community to reduce violence and save lives. Cash and checks will be accepted, if you are so inclined to donate.”
