Come enjoy an afternoon concert with the Peter Sprague Trio featuring Fred Benedetti!

The Peter Sprague Trio is a genre-busting ensemble featuring three of San Diego’s best-known jazz musicians. Peter Sprague, guitarist, is a Del Mar surfer who studied with Pat Metheny and has performed with Chick Corea, Dianne Reeves and many others. Fred Benedetti, guitar, is a noted composer, professor of music at Grossmont College, studied with Segovia himself, solo and  an ensemble performer. Bassist Mack Leighton is one of the most in demand bassists in San Diego and teaches jazz at three different colleges in the surrounding areas. Expect a free-wheeling concert of jazz fusion with a bit of flamenco, Celtic, samba, Latin and Indian influences.

 

The Friends of the Pacific Beach Library offer a concert on the 4th Saturday of the month from May-September 2024, at 4pm (Please note that June's Concert is presented on the 5th Saturday).  Donations to the Friends of the PB Library are gladly accepted.
