Event Details

New monthly family program focused on making connections through cultural crafts. Join us the 4th Saturday of each month to learn about a new culture through crafts. Supplies limited; registration recommended. 

January: Traditions of the Chinese Lunar New Year from presented by the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum

Learn the tale of how the Chinese zodiac came to be! We will also discuss the Chinese tradition of having a New Year’s eve dinner, placing a couplet at the door, using fire-crackers, and saying auspicious phrases during Chinese New Year period.
