Program Description

Event Details

Cyanotypes, or sun prints, are pieces of fabric or paper that are coated with photosensitive formula to produce a monochrome, blue colored print using UV Rays from the sun and water. This formula is created using two chemicals:  ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide. Patrons will create their own collage of found objects and foliage and create their own sun-prints or cyanotypes with materials provided for by the library (while supplies last).
