Teen Center presents Scrapyard! A two-day global hackathon run by high schoolers with a “scrappy” theme of stupid inventions!

Visit the library on Saturday & create a terrific craft. All supplies provided!

Saturday is Stay and Play in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for music, toys, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!   

Gear up for driving success with our interactive workshop, perfect for pre-permit teenagers and their parents! Explore essential topics like Graduated Driver Licensing, selecting a safe vehicle, and choosing the right driving school.

Join us every Saturday from 10am-noon for Lego and Rokenbok Club! Patrons will be able to build at their own pace.

We will provide a lego square to build on and patrons can continue to build on it week after week. 

In this Mindful Gardening class, participants will decorate their pot, create a garden marker, fill their pot with soil, and plant seeds. All supplies are provided.

Join us for drawing club! Whether you are passionate about improving your skills, love art or just want to sketch and get inspired this is the place for you. All skill levels welcome, club is led by one of our talented volunteers.

Zentangle is a form of meditative art that involves creating intricate designs using repetitive patterns. It is a way to help people focus, relax, and find inner peace through drawing.

Create beautiful patterns and designs through the processes of creating “canes” with colorful polymer clay. Working on a smaller scale, this process teaches pattern and design sculpturally that can be achieved through cutting and slicing.

Cyanotypes, or sun prints, are pieces of fabric or paper that are coated with photosensitive formula to produce a monochrome, blue colored print using UV Rays from the sun and water.

With humor and playfulness, Dr. Richard Lederer will illuminate essential grammar, usage, and punctuation.

This engaging program will immerse children in the joys of learning through play while nurturing critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

We bring the arts and crafts, pots, soil, craft sticks, construction paper, and seeds. Participants get to create a mystical fairy garden wonderland in a gardening pot, fill their pot up with soil, and plant their seeds.

As part of our monthly (or in the case of March bimonthly) art class series with ArtReach, come learn how to create a ceramic puzzle box with the help of teaching artists and a bit of your own problem solving skills. 

For Grades 5-10; CAD workshop series to introduce students to advanced CAD used in real-world industries to create detailed and complex 3D models with OnShape and SolidWorks.

All levels of players are welcome. There will be instruction for beginners and opportunities for kids to play against other kids at their own level. Geared to Grades 1-5.

Join us for our monthly teen night. This month we are making friendship bracelets! Each participant will get all the materials to make their own bracelets to take home.
