Event Details

Join us Wednesday, May 7 at 1pm for an informative and timely workshop.  Data Science Alliance, a non-profit organization will be at the Point Loma Library to help participants recognize online scammers and learn how to share information online responsibly.  Topics covered include  protecting private information; what motivates a scammer; types of online scams; identity theft; how to identity fake online stores; being aware of posts they share; and tips for navigating safely.  This workshop is free and open to all ages.
