Event Details

Rising Stars: Nao Nadaharo (cello), Bo-En Huang (violin), Lucy Mandegar (violin), and Kate Kim (flute).

“The Rising Young Stars” are young musicians that reside in the San Diego and North San Diego area. They are members of their school music programs and members of the various youth orchestras and area community orchestras. They are also competition winners and have been featured as soloists in local competitions, recitals and in area performance venue.

The Discovery Concert Series was created to expand the opportunity for talented area musicians to perform in public. Many of the performers are also music educators and will enhance the programs by offering insights into the music, the composers and the performers.
