Judy Schnack, Volunteer with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA) will discuss the importance of sharing values and end-of-life wishes with loved ones; present information on legal end of life options in California, including stopping unwanted medical treatments, enrolling in hospice care, obtaining palliative care, and voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED); review California's End of Life Option Act, a law also known as Medical Aid in Dying (MAID); amd describe the resources and support provided by End of Life Choices California.
