Antoinette Middleton was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science "Cum Laude" from Syracuse University. She began her professional career at New York State Division for Youth as a counselor to juvenile offenders, and later served as an Accreditation Coordinator. The Accreditation process involved the review, modification, and implementation of policy and procedures as the agency sought compliance with federal standards, and thereafter obtained accreditation of their programs and services.

After moving to California in 1996, she attended California Western School of Law, where she received Juris Doctor in 2000, and shortly after was admitted to the State Bar of California. Attorney Middleton founded The Law Offices of Antoinette Middleton in May 2001 with the goal of providing quality estate planning and family law services to the greater San Diego Community.
