Using art, culture, music, and mindfulness, students will learn critical thinking and a deeper connection with our community. Students will learn about career opportunities through the eyes of BIPOC professionals from various careers. Students will work with 3D printing, recording studio equipment, learn about STEAM education, and experience in-depth cultural programs.

Along with daily mindfulness classes, youths will sample and make international cuisine and study and experience culturally-diverse music and dance. They will understand the importance of food equity and justice and will be shown kindness and compassion for others within their communities.

The camp will explore the roots of San Diego, creating connections for youths with their city and those who share it with them. Outdoor activities include hiking, fun field trips to local places, and learning the importance of our relationship nature.
