The Carmel Valley Library Family Concert Series presents a different artist each month. Admission is free. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Carmel Valley Library.
The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library proudly present acclaimed guitarists Peter Pupping and Fred Benedetti on Tuesday, February 24, at 6:30 pm at the Carmel Valley Library, 3919 Townsgate Drive. This free, one-hour concert features two of San Diego's most accomplished musicians. Peter Pupping, founder and director of the Encinitas Guitar Orchestra (now in its 23rd season), brings his eclectic mastery of classical, jazz, world music, rock and pop, honed through studies with members of the legendary Los Romeros Guitar Quartet. Fred Benedetti, emeritus professor at Grossmont College and 2023 San Diego Music Hall of Fame inductee, studied with Maestro Andrés Segovia and has
performed with the San Diego Symphony, Luciano Pavarotti, and Dave Brubeck, appearing on over 150 recordings. Donations are gratefully accepted to support future cultural events.
