Program Description

Event Details

Storybox Theatre is a wonderful way to present illustrated stories to youngsters.  Storybox is the American name we have given to the Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai.  (Kami = paper; shibai = theatre).  A storyteller stands behind a little wooden theatre and reveals a series of illustrations as they narrate a story, doing all the characters’ voices and the many sound effects.

Join Miss Veronica on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 11:30 am for Storybox Theatre and/or the last Monday of each evening at 6pm for a wonderful Family Night Kamishibai Storytime with Grandpa Grumpy!
