Program Description

Event Details

SketchUp is a powerful tool used for the creation of 3D objects and some limited animation.  This class will allow the student to learn about the basic concepts involved in the creation of 3D objects, including lathing, extrusion, Boolean operations, lighting, and creating textures or skins. The objects created in SketchUp can be sent to a 3D printer and made into actual physical objects, including on 3D printers available at the downtown library.

You must enroll in class on the first day in order to attend the whole series. You are encouraged to arrive 1-hour prior to class to register with San Diego Continuing Ed staff, as classes are first-come, first-served.

Note: Class does not meet on April 1st due to Spring Break.
