This month Chicana/os On the Move features the newly released book CHICANA TRIBUTES: Stories for the New Generation.  Join us in a discussion with authors and editors Rita Sanchez and Sonia Lopez to learn about the stories of local women featured in the book who were successful in the struggle for equal rights and social justice.  Additional speakers include Chicano Museum activist Josie Talamantez; Executive Director of Barrio Station Rachael Ortiz and authors Lucia Acevedo Gonzales and Zerina Zermeño.  A book signing will follow the presentation.  Book will be available for sale at this event and proceeds will be donated to the Logan Heights Branch Library.  Light refreshments will be served.
