Event Details

The Scripps Miramar Ranch Library is celebrating our 30th Birthday with a special event: author, illustrator and Walt Disney Artist Benson Shum will be joining us for Storytime!

Benson Shum has illustrated a number of picture books, including Anzu the Great Kaiju and Anzu the Great Listener. Benson is also an animator at the Walt Disney Animation Studios, where he contributed to such films as Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Frozen II, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Encanto. Originally from Vancouver, British Columba, Benson now lives in sunny Southern California.

Benson will read his Anzu books at Storytime and stay after to sign/personalize your copy. There will be treats and The Library Shop will be present with a pop-up store for anyone who'd like to buy one of Benson's books onsite. Sponsored by the Scripps Miramar Ranch Friends of the Library.
