In order to combat the spread of Hepatitis A, the San Diego County Health & Human Services Agency is offering free Hepatitis vaccinations.  Another immunization clinic will be offered at the PB Library on Wednesday, October 25th, from 1-4pm. 

Priority for the free vaccine will be given to people (must be age 18 or over) who identify with any of the known risk factors:

  • Individuals who are homeless.
  • Individuals who work with homeless and/or users of illegal drugs.
  • Users of injection and non-injection illegal drugs.
  • Individuals with chronic liver disease, such as cirrhosis, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C. (commonly seen in illicit drug users and homeless)
  • Men who have sex with men.
