Event Details

Hobbit Day is widely recognized in the month of September, which marks the birthday of both Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, the central characters in J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy books, The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. 

Celebrate Hobbit Day by becoming one!

Come to the Central Library IDEA Lab (4th floor) to make wearable hobbit accessories including:

  • Hobbit feet socks
  • Hobbit door pouches
  • Pointy Hobbit ears

Drop-in anytime between 3-5 p.m. to join in on the festivities.

All ages welcome. While supplies last.
