Event Details

Meet team 12499 Gear Up,​ a PQ  FTC robotics team, and learn about FTC and FLL robotics programs.

FTC ​(First Tech Challenge) is a program that exposes kids to the world of robotics and STEM.

Drop in to learn about: 

1. ​Computer Aided Design (CAD).  Using Sketch-up to create three-dimensional models and learning the mechanical design of our robot.

2. Driving ​our robot. 

3. Engineering Notebook​.  Documenting the team’s work. 

4. Java​.  Programming the robot with java. 

5. First Lego League. ​  See our robot chassis and try some basic  programming. 

Recommended for 3rd through 8th graders.
