Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a Japanese storytelling tradition called kamishibai. (Kami = paper; shibai = theatre). A storyteller stands behind a little wooden theatre and reveals a series of illustrations as he narrates a story, doing all the characters’ voices and the many sound effects. Kamishibai Storytime is on the first Wednesday of the month from 10-10:30am and Kamishibai Around the World is on the third Monday of the month from 4-4:4:30pm.
