Event Details

Learn all the “ins and outs” of container Mediterranean gardening!

Mediterranean gardening is a great way to grow herbs in Southern California that do not require a lot of water. 

We will discuss: 

  • Soil
  • Fertilizers
  • Pest management
  • Planting, and
  • Companion Planting

 

Also, all gardeners are encouraged to check out our seed library!  The PB Seed Library is located next to the Circulation Desk (by the return counter).  You can "borrow" free packets of seeds, and then (if all goes well) return seeds from your harvest for others to enjoy!  Ask staff for more information about the PB Seed Library on your next visit.
